HP Unveils 8 New TouchPad

The HP TouchPad will be equipped with a 9.7 inch capacitive touchscreen with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, and powered by a dual core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 512MB of RAM. Check out the 8 video demonstrations after the jump. The new HP Touchpad will be arriving in the UK July with the pre-orders being accepted from 19th June. The HP Touchpad will be available in two versions, a 16GB for £399 and a 32GB.

Sony Unveils VPL-HW30ES 3D Projector

The new 3D projector is fitted with Sony’s High Frame Rate SXRD Panel (1920ｘ1080) and has a 70,000:1 contrast ratio and brightness of 1,300lm. It design also allows it to run making only 22db of noise which will not disturb the overall cinematic experience. The Sony VPL-HW30ES projector is also capable of taking 2D video and simulating 3D images, bringing new life to classic movies from the past and allowing a wide variety of video content, such as live sports, to be enjoyed.

Asus Eee Pad Slider Hits

The Asus Eee Pad Slider features a 10.1 inch inch touchscreen display, and a slide out QWERTY Keyboard, it will come with Android Honeycomb and features a dual core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor.

Google Sued Over Chromebook Name

The Chromebook name is too close to their already existing ChromiumPC, a desktop computer that runs the Chrome OS. This isn’t the first fight the two companies has engaged in as Google after ISYS tried to trademark their ChromiumPC name last year. But Google stepped in and objected saying the name was too close to their Chromium OS name.

Asus UX21 Ultrabook

Asus UX21 features an 11.6 inch display and will come with an Intel Core i7 processor, as we mentioned previously Asus are attempting to sell the UX21 at around 80 to 90 percent of the MacBook Air’s price. The new Asus UX 21 Ultrabook was announced at the end of last month, and we were told that it would retail for the Asus will release the UX21 Ultrabook

Panasonic Unveils

Panasonic has today revealed prices for its new digital camcorder and camera range. The bottom of the range Panasonic HM-TA20 is a full-HD mobile camera, and has been manufactured with a rugged casing that is waterproof to 10 feet, shockproof and dustproof. Its also equipped with a number of new features including a new Night View Mode. Panasonic’s three new Dual Camera models record video in the MPEG-4 AVC file format (MP4), which is convenient for uploading images to the Internet or editing on a computer.
